What Obama's bow in Japan really meant

I've seen nothing to indicate that Obie bowed lower than anyone else. Are we so insecure that we are going to have to measure the degrees to which our President bows?

We are a very respectful nation again. We aren't a bunch of wannabe cowboys anymore out playing mine is bigger than yours.

And besides that, that would be pointless anyway. Everyone already knows President Obama's is bigger.

You reference us as cowboys, but it is ignorance around cultural formalities like this that demonstrate our lack of consideration. How hard is it to know when to shake hands and how low to bow while maintaining eye contact. I've seen international sales people be be demoted for this kind of miss step.

And, if you are referencing the President's height, it isn't a consideration in this subject.
