Will Louisiana and Others Secede From The USA?

We can count on the Neocons to side against liberty, the Constitution, and for big government....just like the libs.

Those who oppose secession have a clear standing on the side of the Constitution.

You need to look at this movement as individual Americans disgruntled with big statist government...but since you are a Neocon and you love big statist government, you will not. Rather you and your like minded friends will side with the Left and with big government...and denigrate liberty loving Americans.

I do look at this movement as individual Americans who are disgruntled with their government. That said, their end goal is a blatant violation of the law and a slap in the face to the Constitution.

If the R party will not purge the Neocons, the Rs need to dissolve. It is the Neocons who gave us the shit we are in now. Thanks to the failures of the Bush's that resulted in the socialist Obama, the Neocons have destroyed the conservative brand.

Obviously we agree to disagree here.

They do not.

It is not.

We sure do disagree. I just wish you Neocons had not irreparably damaged the conservative brand. Is it any wonder a Neocon progressive like Romney lost to a socialist like Obama?

Wrong AGAIN.... Rasmussen did a poll in 2009 and found that 11% want to secede. It likely is a lot higher now thanks to the actions of your party and your Messiah. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...il_2009/just_11_favor_seceding_from_the_union

You have shown yourself to be consistently wrong on most issues. Does this ever phase you?

funny how if 2-3% of the people want certain things its ok to join in but for other things not so much
thats about the rate of homosexuals...

Talk about extreme!

Actually, secession is AGAINST the Constitution.
And, those who claim that the US was built on a secession seem to forget that it was a REVOLT AGAINST ANOTHER COUNTRY, NOT against the US Constitution.

In my opinion the people you call "the neocons" are the core of the REASONABLE and logical basis of the Republicans.
The rest of the party is made up of extremists, driven by stupidity and hyper religious dogmas (I guess in many cases it's the same thing!)

But, have it your way!. . . I, for one, will enjoy the show! LOL

Funny how you, a radical left winger, finds neocons to your liking. Proves how foolish neocons are.

I probably meet YOUR definition of "radical Left winger". That doesn't make it so.

I actually am registered as an independent, because I like to keep my options open from year to year. I am a big supporter of president Obama, and I will probably remain so until the end of his 8 years in office. . .and I wouldn't be surprise if I have the pleasure to see President Obama at the head of UN before I die.

Tis being said, i am leaving all my option open for 2016. I said before, and I met it, that If Christie runs, I would seriously consider his candidacy, same with Rubio. I hope Hillary Clinton will run, and she would probably be my favorite, but I don't think I would be enthusiastic with Bidden's candidature.

I always have more respect for people who can demonstrate a willingness to consider the value of honesty and integrity rather than solely partisanship. And I have NO respect for people who would adopt such crazy ideas as "birthers" or "limbaugh truckers!"

If that makes me "extreme" in your eyes, so be it. It really is a moot point for me anyway!

I find your blind allegiance to BO very strange. But it does prove what some claim, that BO's followers have bought into the CULT OF PERSONALITY...much as people do in totalitarian nations. I would NEVER give blind allegiance to any politician. Americans have a long history of NEVER trusting a politician, but apparently this too is diminishing like so many other admirable traits we once possessed.

Secondly, BO is a pure politician. He is not a statesman, not a military man, not a accomplished businessman, not a leader, not so many things that Americans expect of their president. As a pure politician, he has proven himself a serial liar and a partisan hack.

I wonder if those on the left have a personality trait not found in righties. Those on the right are much more likely to distrust any politician, no matter his/her positions, because we are about individual liberty, the rule of law, and free market capitalism....and you guys are about collectivism.

I call it what it is -- drudging up a dead issue because we lost the election and are bitter about it.

From Heritage:
The United States is a government established under a Constitution ratified by the people of the United States acting through state ratifying conventions. That is, the United States is not a league of sovereign-states but a union of states under a national government. As such, individual states have no constitutional right to leave the union at will.

If you believe in the Constitution, you don't believe the right of secession -- you might believe in the right of rebellion, but that is not the issue at hand. So yes, the side I would fall on is the side of the law and the Constitution.

Heritage is saying something that was confirmed by the supreme court. Leave it to heritage to always be right - well technically.

The court said no state could secede unilaterally but could do so with permission from other states. A limited example of this would be like when West Virginia split off from Virginia. In any case there is at least one situation in which a state has a right to secede - when it gets permission.

The people also have a natural right affirmed in the Declaration to abolish the government and form a new one. It would seem silly that they could revolt but that no less violent means would be available.

I seem to have some memory of a few states joining the union with written stipulations that they had a right to secede but I have not been able to find any reference to this on the net with the short search I did.

Most people argue that Texas retained such a right -- but it is not actually factual.

A typical Con Man From the 'Hood.
Plain--and--simple.

Delegates everything to others, quite poorly BTW due to sycophantic droolers in his jet-wash--see Benghazi Affair.

And I find your blind hatred and disgust for this man a clear indication of racism and lack of honesty.

Obama is not perfect, but he certainly has many of the qualities you deny him.

He most certainly is a stateman, and a leader. And while is is not a military man, he obviously knows enough to lead the military in ways that do not expend the life of our soldiers for nothing like some other "non military"Presidents!

But the point and your bigotry are moot, as obviously, Obama IS the President, and will be for the full 8 years allowable by the Constutution.

Enjoy.

States are free to leave the United States of America--as they were in the 1860's until the War of Northern Aggression forced them all to capitulate--to what has become--tyranny.

They are autonomous unless freely agreed to work in concert.

Here we go!
I mean--what else COULD it be???????????????
