Baldwin clearly did not intend to kill anyone. He does not want to be blamed for the accident. Of course, he should have checked the gun before firing it. He was negligent, but he was not a murderer.

He would have felt the exact same way no matter what his political orientation was. It s rather common to read about cops and gun nuts shooting themselves in the foot.
