I would postulate he is "young and inexperienced".
Not a real fatal flaw, but it can be annoying.

I hate the length of time it takes almost any human to have any truly viable intelligence.

at least he's a little better mannered this incarnation (unlike another old fool I could mention whi only gets more sour with age and/or intoxicants), I'm thankful for that.

I didn't forget about eating babies. There is no evidence to support such an accusation

But I note with interest that the US government got the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to make a speech about seeing Iraqi soldiers taking babies out of incubators and dashing them against the floor to garner support for gulf war 1.

It was proven that she had never left the US

But this lying speech was repeated word for word by another individual to garner support for gulf war 2 and again it was proven to be a fabrication.

This just goes to show how gullible and ignorant US citizens are in general and also how difficult it is for them to accept that they live in a vicious, duplicitous nation that is internationally loathed. And before you start that has nothing to do with 'jealousy of your alleged feedoms'.

And finally to Johnnie T and his inciteful suggestion that I get back to the Mosque..... Even the stupidest poster on this board ( and let's face it there is some stiff opposition for that accolade) can see that I am a militant atheist who thinks all adherents of religion to be mentally ill.

Maybe your inability to discern this makes you the winner

Not so very long ago there was a very fine gander. He was strong and smooth and beautiful and he spent most of his time singing to his wife and children. One day somebody who saw him strutting up and down in his yard and singing remarked, “There is a very proper gander.”

An old hen overheard this and told her husband about it that night in the roost. “They said something about propaganda,” she said. “I have always suspected that,“said the rooster, and he went around the barnyard next day telling everybody that the very fine gander was a dangerous bird, more than likely a hawk in gander’s clothing.

A small brown hen remembered a time when at agreat distance she had seen the gander talking with some hawks in the forest. “They were up to no good,“ she said. A duck remembered that the gander had once told him he did not believe in anything. “He said to hell with the flag, too,“ said the duck. A guinea hen recalled that she had once seen somebody who looked very much like the gander throw something that looked a great deal like a bomb.

Finally everybody snatched up sticks and stones and descended on the gander’s house. He was strutting in his front yard, singing to his children and his wife. "There he is!" everybody cried. "Hawk-lover! Unbeliever! Flaghater! Bomb-thrower!" So they set upon him and drove him out of the country.


Moral--
Anybody who you or your wife thinks is going to overthrow the government by violence must be driven out of the country.

You refuse to believe patently obvious truths like climate change and evolution and believe shit like creationism, that the US has socialism, that the female reproductive organs switch off during rape and this one I love the most....that climate change isn't an issue because after the flood god sent a rainbow as a promise that he would never do that to the world again.

I've lived in several Muslim countries in my life, and asked myself "what is the appeal of Islam". Malcolm X reasoned that Islam was the religion for dark-skin people. Personally, I think you must understand the genetic differences between cultures. All men are NOT created equal. Subtle, but substantial, changes that have occurred as man evolved evolved from the first wave of humans that came out of Africa. As each group settled into a particular area and environment, their body and brain adopted to the change. The most obvious change was skin color which changed according to how much sunshine vitamin D the body required.

Without getting into detail, our brains also changed. The brain changed so that humans could live in the nomadic existence of Saudi Arabia. It was much more important to follow tribal leaders without question, abstract thinking was fatal. People possessing that quality never lived to have children -Darwin at work.

Islam fit that into that kind of brain. That religion has 5 pillars which you must follow: Pray 5 times a day, go to the Mosque every Friday, etc. Easy. You don't have to figure out what the abstract parables meant that Jesus was talking about. Christianity doesn't fit their brain.

Even today, that evolved brain remains unchanged. They are willing to blindly follow a leader to defend Islam - just like the Arabic desert 1400 years ago. They are not suited to question if Islam is right or wrong, no matter what other Muslims do in the name of Allah.

Those are my observations.
