The democrats defied all history by not suffering massive losses as post election mid terms.

They did better than expected but most certainly did not "defy history". They lost seats in the house and the Senate will be between losing 1 and gaining 1 (but probably just be a wash). That's nowhere near as good as the Republicans did during the Bush administration's offcycle election in 2002.

Heres the dilemma you face.
Trump has endorsed de santis and us most likely to run. Trump runs and the ridiculous se santis like he did every one else. They split the GOP nomination and one if them loses and stands as an independent which of course splits the vote and the democrats win purely on numbers.
Thar places you lot in a dilemma as to who you support. If Trump goes down and loses the nomination, his rednecks will be wanting retribution and then comes Trump's provocation of a civil war again. Dont ever believe those nuts won't do it he says so. They did it once and next time will be easier.

So, getting a warm inner glow from a mid term win has ramifications. Dr santis is a Trump clone and when he loses to democrats he'll want blood like Trump. It's called revenge politics and it's origins are hereditary in republicans like you lot.
