Is it any wonder lefties are so uninformed, when their media lies to them daily?

Here is a short list of lies and distortions presented by the lib media...YESTERDAY!!!

Bozell Column: Airing Anti-Palin Bilge at NBC
Twenty years ago, NBC’s “Today” devoted three days of interviews to the insufferable Kitty Kelley, who unspooled baseless allegations against Nancy Reagan, like her supposed love affair with Frank Sinatra. That kind of tabloid bilge belched back up the garbage disposal on September 16, when “Today” promoted the new Palin-bashing book “The Rogue,” by leftist author Joe McGinniss.

NBC doesn’t have an evidence standard when it's conservatives being gored. With liberals, it’s a different story.

Albany Times Union: Obama Tax Hikes Not Class Warfare, It’s ‘Fairness’

It’s good to see the editorial board at the Times Union isn’t even bothering to mask their liberal bias these days. Via a blog known as The Observation Deck, which boasts some of the more prominent members of the newspapers staff, including editor and vice-president, Rex Smith, editor-at-large, Harry Rosenfeld, and publisher George R. Hearst III, the Union has been printing some of the most biased editorials in New York media in recent weeks. Yesterday’s entry was no different - completely lacking in substantiating facts, and holding a unique disdain for economic reality.

The title of the editorial in question parrots the Obama stance on taxes in a nutshell – Class Warfare? No, Fairness.

At AP, It's 'LightWhat'?
So I figure that I need to catch up on the LightSquared saga. This is the company which, as Fox News reported on Thursday (the URL date is September 15, though the time stamp is the next day) is building "a nationwide, next-generation, 4G phone network."

The problem is, as Fox further noted, that there are concerns that "many, including (General William) Shelton, think (the network) would seriously hinder the effectiveness of high-precision GPS receiver systems, a product used most commonly by the United States military." Shelton told a congresspersons "in a classified briefing earlier this month" that he was asked by the Obama administration to change (but apparently didn't) his testimony about said dangers.

NPR Game Show Mocks GOP Debate Crowds 'Really Excited About Death,' Cheney as 'Grim Reaper'
NPR's Chicago-based weekend game show Wait! Wait! Don't Tell Me! appeared in Portland, Oregon this weekend, and once again, host Peter Sagal laid into Dick Cheney. (Five years ago, we reported Sagal suggested Cheney was living in Karl Rove's rear end, or last November, Sagal's fake book interview with George W. Bush that made him sound like he's relapsed into alcoholism.)

Rather typically, the NPR game show host picked up the liberal meme of the week and mocked how GOP debate audiences

Scarborough Scolds Brzezinski: 'She Didn't Cross-examine Ron [Suskind] When He Wrote Books About Bush'
Mika Brzezinski gave quite a cold shoulder to author Ron Suskind Tuesday whose new book "Confidence Men" paints an unflattering picture of the Obama White House.

Doing her best Clarence Darrow, Brzezinski grilled her "Morning Joe" guest leading Joe Scarborough to smartly observe, "She didn't cross-examine Ron when he wrote books about Bush like this"

Rachael Ray and Joy Behar Gush Over Bill Clinton: 'Charming,' 'Brilliant,' 'Honest'

HLN's Joy Behar and guest Rachael Ray fawned over former President Bill Clinton on Monday. "They don't just hand out those Rhodes scholarships for presidencies," remarked the Food Network's Ray, who also called Clinton "incredibly charming" and "so honest with people."

Behar was especially enamored with Clinton. "I find him extremely sexy, don't you?" the HLN host asked Ray, adding that Clinton was "brilliant." She even compared his presidency with Reagan's.

"I think people are going to look back on his presidency the way they look at St. Ronald Reagan," Behar raved. "They'll say St. Bill Clinton eventually. Because he had his problems during his administration, but in retrospect he did a great job.

NBC Attacks Suskind Book Critical of Obama But Promoted Bush-Bashing Book
While co-host Ann Curry on Tuesday's NBC "Today" wondered if Ron Suskind's "Confidence Men" was "fact or fiction," on August 5, 2008, then-co-host Meredith Vieira touted Suskind's claim in "Way of the World" that the Bush administration's case for the Iraq war was "worse than Watergate."

Speaking of Suskind's latest work on Tuesday, Curry described how Obama administration "top officials are lining up to say they were either misquoted or taken out of context by the author." She then wondered: "Did he get the story right?"

MSNBC's Bashir Suggests Founding Fathers Would Favor Obama's Push for Tax Hike on Rich

British-born MSNBC afternoon anchor Martin Bashir devoted his September 20 "Clear the Air" commentary to clouding the issue of raising taxes by citing the clause in Article I, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution's that bans Congress from granting titles of nobility (video follows page break):

Public Wins Kudos of NYT Ed. Board (But Why Don't Folks Love Obama More?)
By: Clay Waters | September 20, 2011 | 17:08
In Sunday’s lead editorial, New York Times editors express their frustration over why the public doesn’t realize how much it truly agrees with President Obama on things like taxes and stimulus and compromise: “Leadership Crisis – Americans agree with Mr. Obama on a great deal. Why don’t they know it?”

Buttressing Buffett: For 10 Years, the Liberal Media Championed Billionaire's Tax Increase Agenda
President Barack Obama's nicknaming his new tax increases on the wealthy the "Warren Buffett rule" is fitting since the billionaire has spent a decade campaigning for a tax hike, a campaign his friends in the liberal media have been more than willing to join. For over 10 years the media promoted Buffett's complaint that the wealthy in America don't pay enough in taxes, spurred on by a Buffett's anecdote that he pays less in taxes than his receptionist.

But even the AP has pointed out, the idea that secretaries pay more in taxes than their bosses is inaccurate. A review of IRS 2009 tax tables (Link to Excel spreadsheet) shows that those making under $100,000/year pay an average of no more than 12.3% of their income in taxes, while those making above $500,000 pay an average of no less than 26.3% of their income in taxes. However, this fact hasn't stopped the liberal media from happily advancing Buffett's call to soak his fellow rich.

CNN Gives Platform to Anti-Palin Author McGinniss, Who Blames Palins for Death Threats
On Monday's Piers Morgan Tonight, author Joe McGinniss blamed Sarah Palin and her family for inciting the death threats made against him. After he moved in next door to the Palins, something he called a "non-issue from the start," he claimed that Sarah Palin "incited that hatred" of death threats made against him for writing a critical book of her.

"The Palins march right up to the border of inciting violence, and stop there and then stand back and say, we had nothing to do with it, if anything happens to anybody," McGinniss told Piers Morgan. CNN granted the author almost 20 minutes of air-time in two separate interviews Monday and Tuesday.

No Critics Allowed: Big Three Nets Trumpet 'Historic' End to 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'
The Big Three networks unequivocally celebrated the end of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy as a "historic moment" on their Tuesday morning programs. CBS's "Early Show" turned to a discharged Air Force major who pushed for further recognition of same-sex couples by the military. NBC's "Today" brought on a homosexual playwright to promote his one-man movie on the policy. ABC's "GMA" only had a news brief on the development, but still highlighted how a magazine is "publishing photos of more than 100 active duty gay and lesbian troops who served in silence until now." None of the programs brought on dissenting voices to advocate the continuation of the policy.

NBC's Curry Tries to Discredit Suskind Book With White House Lines of Attack
Working hard to run defense for the Obama administration on Tuesday's NBC Today, co-host Ann Curry interrogated journalist Ron Suskind on his new book critical of the White House and announced she wanted to go through unflattering parts of the book "one by one," while using Obama Press Secretary Jay Carney-approved talking points to discredit it. [Audio available here]

Curry began the interview with Suskind, author of "Confidence Men," by touting White House claims that the Pulitzer Prize winner plagiarized some background information in the book from Wikipedia: "Did you or did you not lift that passage from Wikipedia?...How do you account it for being so similar?"

Gee..the media lies..this is a shock.

Thank goodness Fox ALWAYS tells the complete and absolute truth.

Well the health snippets anyway.

Comrade Stalin

Fox Tells the truth! Theyre fair n balanced. Like why you think Democrats are scared to debate on Fox News? They got something to hide dont they? Just like the last candidate debates back in 2010. Obama never debated on Fox News. He rather appears on CNN and MSNBC.

Obama interview with Fox News Bret Baier

Yeah saw that interview. BO was very cold and combative unlike when he gets interviewed by the sycophants on ALL the other networks. You would think libs would prefer a tough interview of the POTUS rather than a disgusting love fest. But, no.

Thanks for your opinion. Obviously, i experienced that interview very differently: as a silly attempt by Baier to get a "got you" moment and to ridicule the President.

The tide is turning on Obama and even the left media is not as lovey-dovey as they once were.

We need to fear that the American people will reject him TOO MUCH. Then whoever the candidate from the right is will be against someone new. It is actually time to point to Obama's faults less and point progressive faults in general more. We now need to argue mostly against positions so that all the work we do now can also set the stage against whoever might be on the ticket.

You mean, the character assassination strategy follows by the right since evn before Obama took office is working too well?

Well, don't worry too much. You guys may be more vocal, but it is very comment that people with the least to say will say it louder and will repeat it more often.

That Obama is gaining disfavor among all demographics is a reflection of his deeds as opposed to his words. No character assassination required.

Hmm, well there have been a lot of allegations made against Obama, some founded some not.

But as far as I know very very few of them have anything to do with character. No one is saying that he cheated on his wife, or that he steals from his neigbor, etc.

It is of course, par for the course that a president is called a liar. But given how blatantly he lies it is hardly an assassination to point out what is obvious.

The vast majority of complaints about Obama are that he is incompetently running the country and trying to make us into a socialistic/progressive dystopia. Neither one have anything to do with character.

Yes, the Rs need to campaign on the policy failures and call those failures LIBERALISM. Liberalism always fails and this needs to be clearly pointed out to the American people. Conservatism always wins. We hopefully will have a choice between liberalism and conservatism in 2012. After decades of liberalism, its time for a real change.

In the last election, we had to choice between a progressive and an American hating socialist. The press did their usual job of promoting the socialist, while trying to paint McCant and W as conservative failures...when in fact no conservative has been nominated by the Rs since The Great One.

The TP should be successful in forcing the Rs to nominate a REAL conservative, not a phony one like W.

2012 The Year Liberalism DIES!!!

Conservativism implies conserving the values that are in place (or were at a time). Since there has never been a time when all was great how are we to decide which past things to embrace?

If we are not embracing them merely because they are traditional then we must be embracing them for some other reason than that they are conservative.

There is a whole lot of what we were that needs to be conserved. But there are some things we are glad to have passed through.

We cant just say that conservatism is the best of what was past because then the libs could just claim to take the best of liberalism and we would miss that while it has good aspects it is a failure in total.

We need to define how we will pick what traditional things to conserve. Once we have done that then we will not be known as conservatives but as [insert the principle here].

If those "complaints" about being incompetent had started even a year after he took office, I could understand that some people do not like his style of leadership. However, these started even before he was in office.

He hasn't lied, although he has made some mistakes and has at time stretched facts to make his point. . .certainly NOTHING compared with outright lies that have been spread around by Republicans, or the big, expensive (both financially and in terms of lifes) that led to the Iraq war!

I believe that when someone accuse a President of being "anti American," or "a Muslim," or "having lied about his birth certificate," these are direct attacks on his character.

His failures began long before he was fabricated into a pol. Hasn't lied ? Thats a joke right ? All he does is lie.
