well to be fair, money does come into campaigns without candidate attended fundraisers. you can just charge ir online any time you like 24-7. so if that many donations were below the reportable level all you need is a new version of the boiler room to use credit cards funded by who knows and sourced from anywhere in the world. maybe they're paying Sri Lankans a buck a day to make $49 dollar donations all day long.
