Republicans kind of suck... which is why they will win huge in November

There you go again with the useless descriptor "republican". There are all kinds of republicans. Reread the last sentence eight times. What matters is what kind of republicans get in. Right now, conservative republicans are trying to get in, but they are the subject of the usual massive defamation campaign by the lib media and the democrat party. Why? Because obviously, leftwingers aren't interested in balanced budgets - spending tax money on their clients and croneys is what they live for. Leftwing cheering of balanced budgets is about as phoney as it gets. Clinton famously attempted "triangulation", ie, a moderate democrat stance - this has absolutely >>NOTHING<< to do with the mindset, plans, goals, worldview, or behavior of the far left extremists who now run the US government.

Oh, I think Republicans cheering balanced budgets is equally phony. You do have a point that Republican does not necessarily mean fiscally conservative. We've seen that in the past, but what makes you think that the Republicans that get elected next are going to be so much different from Republicans who were elected the last time around?

It's time to forget about political parties. There really isn't that much difference between the two major ones.

Its apparent you will not give credit to the Rs for balancing the budget (but you will give BJ credit:eek:) and reforming welfare during BJ Clinton's reign. Why? Because it is apparent you lean left.

Have the Dems at any time in the past 50 years provided a balanced budget or even tried? Of course not, but you still see no difference in the parties. How blind must one be?

Our only hope to prevent violence and a possible violent revolution in the coming years, is the success of conservative Rs and the Tea Party. If they can return the US to fiscal solvency, rule of law, and reducing government we will avoid the violence the leftists want to occur.

Your party (Dems) have us on that road to violence because they promote socialism which anyone with a brain knows is unsustainable as we are now witnessing in Europe.

There you go with "republicans" again. When you explain to leftwingers a RINO is not the same as a conservative, they go dumb deaf and blind.

Can you tell the difference between a tea party activist and say Bush or McCain? Have you seen/read anything about the tea party other than lib media defamation?

So, just who are these "conservatives" who are going to get elected and do all of the wonderful things you expect? Who do you expect to fill congressional seats who are different from the "RINOS" who have been elected in the past? Who do you foresee unseating the current admittedly liberal Democrat in the White house?

Unless those candidates have a reasonable chance of winning, and unless they really are different from the Republicans of the past, then you're just building castles in the sky.

Who are these conservatives? Names??????

Ah, yes, it was the Republican Congress that balanced the budget during the Clinton Administration.

"Not only was the entire national deficit eliminated after raising taxes on the wealthy in 1993, but the economy grew so fast for the remainder of the decade that many conservative economists thought that the Fed should raise the prime interest rate in order to slow it down."
