The Speech

I am not sure how Jesus fullfilled the commandments or the laws. I guess you can say he did the first 4. He did love the Creator more than probably anyone. But the others. like how did he fullfill do not murder, do not covet or do not commit adultry?

He fulfilled them by completing the purpose for which they exist. The purpose of the Law is to show people that they need a savior. Since He is that savior and He has completed His work then the Law is fulfilled.

Here is a new test vs that was spoken by Jesus, I would think anything he said trumps paul :)

mat 5:18
"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

The full verse:

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place."

So you are right that the Law still exists. But Jesus did finish fulfilling it as He said He would. The Law will still convict those who are under it (Jews or the circumcised). The greater Laws still exist too and still convict all who have done wrong. Knowing that you have done wrong is only half the battle. the next step is to want to correct the wrong you have done. Jesus offers an opportunity to do that.
Last I looked its a very sunny day but I could be missing something.
all is not accomplished, he still has to return, win a really big war, Bring in the new heavens, new earth and new jerusalem, then reign on it with his elect for 1000 years and a few more things.
Yes the Law still exists. Are you under it or under a more foundational law?
I think bible believers eating unclean foods, not honoring the sabbath is just that the group watered its self down broke in sects. Kind of like our country used to be strong capitolist but now liberalism and socialism are watering it down.
YOu may. But I think they realize that the Law has done what it needed to do in their lives and they have moved forward toward repentance and salvation.

Wasn't the topic about Obama's speech? ugh I am off topic again.

Obama gave a bad speech!!!!!!!!

I think it was a speech full of code. He said all sorts of great inspiring stuff but when one looks to see what he proposes to do to fix the problems he cites then he just offers more of the same tired liberal solutions we have heard before.

This is a free country - anyone can develope their own take on religion, or no religion at all. It becomes an issue for the public at large when a candidate has as a close personal adviser a religious leader whose perceptions are widely viewed as departing from their values, or even widely varying from reality, because it raises questions about the judgement and character of the candidate.

A pastor is not a relative. The thing with relatives is we don't choose them. They just are.

Pastors and places of worship don't work that way. You choose where you go. You listen and decide.

Obama decided to stay and worship in a black racist church.

Personally, I'd rather worship in a black "racist" church, where at least there is a semblance of truth to what the reverend says (see The Plexus Agenda by Andre Lewis) than a white church which allows and covers up sexual abuse of children.

What truth did his racist church teach that other churches do not ?

The US government invented aids to kill off black people?
or that we are the us of KKK a?
or would it be that we should ask God to damn american instead of bless it?

these "truths" ??? or was there something else he is preaching we typical white people didnt get in other churches? time to go cling to my gun and bible

by the way I am not typical or white :) I am native american :) but its fun to use his words

Poor Pennsylvania voters spoke today.

Obama we don't like your snobbish views

The Rev. Write spoke out a couple of days ago. When asked what he thought of Obama's speech and what he had to say about the Rev. The Rev. answered……He is a politician; he said what a politician had to say. I am a preacher; I say what a preacher has to say.

So it’s clear if his friend, mentor, pastor of 20 years believes this about him, maybe we should too.

He is just a politician, and he says what politicians say. The speech was politics as usual…… apparently he isn’t above it all, after all 
