Voters in my state are stupid

has it occurred to you that:
the people of Wisc elected Walker to institute fiscal responsibility ?
the unions have spent lavishly there before and after CU ?
there is a difference between what people do in public than what they do in private ? (sign petition as opposed to vote, union votes fail frequently due to this ergo "Card Check")

I guess we'll have to wait and see. . .Right?
It is clear that the people of Wisconsin didn't expect Walker to be paid off by Koch Brothers and to destroy the Unions.

But. . .Let's wait and see! :)

hardly destroyed the unions, just took one aspect off the table. I wish he had destroyed the unions. Kind of fixated on those Koch boys aren't you ? Are you equally concerned about Geo.Soros ? He's been at it longer.

I guess I do tend to focus on who is REALLY the puppet master. . .threfore, for Scott Walker, it is the Koch brothers.
Am I as concerned with George Soros?
Absolutely not! Same difference we discussed yesterday about big corp as "people." The Koch brothers work for themselves and their little circle of super wealthy multi billionaires.
Soros works for himself and the 99%.

soros is a super wealthy billionaire and he got rich off destabilizing currencies which hurt the 100% excepting himself. he's also a convicted felon. wonder where he keeps his money ?

Convicted felon? Link please.

And he is a very wealthy businessman. . .not unlike Romney (except richer) and Murdoch, and many others. Romney has gotten rich destabilizing whole industries. . .firing lots of people to make "illusional money."
He can brag about "creating 100,000" jobs. . .actually most of these jobs are really low paid, and HE didn't create them. . . people who followed him did.

I do not especially trust ANY big business men. . .Soros and a few others (Buffett, for example) have the moral advantage to be concern about those who do not walk in their "ultra wealthy" circle.

thought this was pretty widely covered at the time

you might benefit from learning more about private equity firms including Bane as your view of them is rather narrow. whole industries is flat wrong. companies that got dismantled were dying anyway, they save the equity from eroding to nothing and reinvest in successful ones.

you really need to understand that Mr Buffett is about none but his own interests. everything he says or does is designed to benefit him personally. and much as it pertains to all investors, if his enterprises are successful it benefits all the workforce involved. a rising tide lifts all boats.

Actually, funny you should mention this. I am in the process of reading "The Big Short."

Once again, you are lecturing. . .probably forgetting that I do have a degree in Economics and that I completed 1 year of MBA.

Could you please give up your patronizing tone. I am pretty far from "the little woman" who stare adoringly to the big strong, know it all man!

Another not-so-subtle nasty and insulting inuendo from our new star "moderator" who seems to have some trouble moderating himself.

"Supposed" education "in my past?"

You are a piece of work!

Yes, dear. We understand you're disturbed by any criticism of your President.

"Any criticism" about our President? No.
UNFAIR, CONSTANT, IRRATIONAL criticism of EVERYTHING, from his smile, to the size of his wife's hips, to his personal religious/spiritual beliefs, to his being either too pushy or to wishy-washy. . .

It would certainly help give some validity to CONSTRUCTIVE criticism about SOME of the President's mistakes or policies IF you didn't just throw a blanket of mudd and expect some of it to stick!

Then you must have been very upset about all the irrational criticism of Bush...OPS...guess not. HYPOCRISY!!!

I on the other hand, had little problems with the criticism of Bush. I knew much of it was from the radical left and they are ALWAYS KOOKY, but harsh and unfounded critisim of the world's most powerful person is A GOOD THING.

And, Bush received much more criticism than the Skinny Socialist has. Hell 80% of the media gets on their knees for him every STINKING DAY, but you don't see either...due to your condition.
