The point is that in the Bible, Jesus' birthplace is given more importance than his actions or talents. Presumably, it was necessary for Jesus to be born in Bethlehem.
It is unclear whether there was actually a place called Nazareth at the time Jesus lived.
Archeologists have been fighting over this for some time. You can check it out on line.
