Why aren't we listening.

So we all don't agree on everything. But we can all agree that 3.7 trillion budget, plus the 2trillion just printed along with the 11trillion for TARP and Banks.

That is about the GDP of the entire nation for 1 yr.

Let's get real here. There will be no way to sustain that kind of spending. Even at 100% tax for everyone, that will not be able to be sustained.

So get over your egos and take action.

If the main-stream-media would just report some of the news, more people would get involved.

Why get behind a president that only has shown one agenda. Along with help from being shielded by the Media, not even 1/3 of America knows what that agenda is.

It's not just the president. It's congress as well. They all have millions and millions and keep increasing their raises and benefits. Even if they only server 1 term, they get their pension for life. FOR LIFE! Who is paying for that.

Congress does not deserve to be treated that well. They have not earned it.

Politicians, in general, don't feel they have to do the right thing for the American people any more. simply for the special interests that got them elected.

That cannot be debated. Most in congress do not care.

They need to be reminded that they work for us. We pay their salaries. We need to let them know we do not fear them. That they should fear us.

.....I was just looking through the latest polls from the various newspapers and journals and it seems that the majority of polls are reasonably positive for Obama? Take for example this which seems relatively representative

Bush and the Republicants had total control and on their watch we were attacked on 9-11, they then lied us into a false WMD invasion of Iraq, they chose to torture, lobbyist like Jack Abramoff run rampant, regulations were weakend, they suppressed women's rights and said the heck with the environment...

and of course besides the budget spending that they "counted" with the uncounted $12 BILLION DOLLARS per month for 8 years they flushed down the toilet they set us up for THE GREAT BUSH RECESSION!

It's pretty clear that's when things went down. As far as 911, you are totally wrong. Military spending and defense cuts were done during clinton's years. He had Bin Laden and let him go. He has more to do with 911 than anyone will give him credit for.
