I'm sure many are wondering what happened to our country, and sayting.."gee..if we only knew...". You that fit this, had better wake up...you know now. The socialist-marxist ways the majority in congress and president hussein are taking you are so far anti-American , you might not be able to publicaly ask that question again.

I only wish they could, but they are so entrenched in not allowing anything bad to be said or done against this administration and it's lackeys, they would rather sell out our country.

Oh yeah?...Your suggestions involve not putting aside petty differences, but going over to Faux News and joining some right wing cult led by a crying nut case.

I've got an idea, why don't you and the rest of the sore losers get behind this president until the economy is back on it's feet?..That would truly be putting aside petty differences for the good of America.

That is like asking a Jew to get behind Hitler till Germany is back on its feet
Or Islam to get behind Christianity till the crusades are over
Or slaves to get behind the master just till the slave ship lands safely.

Getting behind obama until he has ripped the fiber of our country and constitution to the point of no return is not an option for some of us.

obama is against everything some of us have ever believed in, against every moral ground we stand for, every fiber of our being. The choice of getting behind him and choosing death... at least the death would come with dignity.

    Maybe you didn't understand.

don't abandoned your beliefs. Put your attitude on hold. Those things are important and can always be debated, but the fate of the nation. That is a different story.

I for one will not stand by while our government destroys this nation.

    What we are marching towards..

    Gobal Economy
    Global Government
Global Currency (the dollar will no long be the defacto standard)
    Hyper Inflation

Even other countries are saying... "Wait... you guys don't want to do that?" Like France and Sweden.

    Why aren't we listening.

So we all don't agree on everything. But we can all agree that 3.7 trillion budget, plus the 2trillion just printed along with the 11trillion for TARP and Banks.

That is about the GDP of the entire nation for 1 yr.

Let's get real here. There will be no way to sustain that kind of spending. Even at 100% tax for everyone, that will not be able to be sustained.

So get over your egos and take action.

If the main-stream-media would just report some of the news, more people would get involved.

Why get behind a president that only has shown one agenda. Along with help from being shielded by the Media, not even 1/3 of America knows what that agenda is.

It's not just the president. It's congress as well. They all have millions and millions and keep increasing their raises and benefits. Even if they only server 1 term, they get their pension for life. FOR LIFE! Who is paying for that.

Congress does not deserve to be treated that well. They have not earned it.

Politicians, in general, don't feel they have to do the right thing for the American people any more. simply for the special interests that got them elected.

That cannot be debated. Most in congress do not care.

They need to be reminded that they work for us. We pay their salaries. We need to let them know we do not fear them. That they should fear us.

.....I was just looking through the latest polls from the various newspapers and journals and it seems that the majority of polls are reasonably positive for Obama? Take for example this which seems relatively representative

......even congressmen? They have a closer relationship with the electorate and surely represent the "common" view?

    I'm pretty sure they know!

Bush and the Republicants had total control and on their watch we were attacked on 9-11, they then lied us into a false WMD invasion of Iraq, they chose to torture, lobbyist like Jack Abramoff run rampant, regulations were weakend, they suppressed women's rights and said the heck with the environment...

and of course besides the budget spending that they "counted" with the uncounted $12 BILLION DOLLARS per month for 8 years they flushed down the toilet they set us up for THE GREAT BUSH RECESSION!

Yep... I think they know... that's why the elections have been going they way they've been going!:)

Yep, more Bush bashing. That is so constructive. Nevermind you mention that the economy was thriving right up until.... that's right, when Congress was controlled by the Dems after the mid term elections.

It's pretty clear that's when things went down. As far as 911, you are totally wrong. Military spending and defense cuts were done during clinton's years. He had Bin Laden and let him go. He has more to do with 911 than anyone will give him credit for.

But... you didn't see Bush take cheap shots at him did you? Unlike the Obama admin, who never miss a chance to take cheap shots.
