Point is, Romney doesn't have to win Iowa, and by all accounts he is not even trying to win Iowa...and yet he still shows well there.

Second time: Bachmann is trending ahead of him and his lead is paper thin. Once again: Ignoring iowa and focussing on florida is how guiliani lost the nomination. iowa matters because it's first and the results are given big play by the media.

To be clear, are we wagering that I think Romney, and you think Bachmann, or just on the Romney prediction?

We will have to agree to disagree I suppose. Rudy didn't just ignore Iowa, he ignored New Hampshire, Michigan, South Carolina, and Nevada and tried to use Florida as a launching pad into Super Tuesday. His problem was he waited to long, and people just didn't like him.

Iowa does matter, I can grant you that, but winning it is not essential...all you really need is a top three finish.

How about $10, or loser makes a post that says "I AM A DUNCE" 100 times.

I believe that the conservative base has had enough of the RINOS who have been dominating the Republican Party for decades.

I don't believe that Romney can win the nomination. He's too "slick", and looks too much like a "politician". Plus he is another RINO who supported a version of Obamacare in a very liberal state.

And I don't think any Independent or liberal see Reagan as an extreme Right President. In fact, as I stated earlier, I believe that he would have a difficult time getting the Republican nomination at for 2012. . .he wouldn't be "extreme" conservative enough for the average Republican.

Actually, only time will tell who gets the Republican nomination, and who is elected POTUS in 2012.

But, I do hope Republican nominate an "extreme" conservative like Bacchman. This would certainly place the odds in Obama's corner!
