Do you really take her resignation at face value? Either way, she should know that American style representative democracy works this way. If she cant play with the grown ups, your right she might want to stay out of it. But her quitting as she did right in the middle of her terms, makes her of virtually zero influence on policy matters that are still important, including the appointment of a number of judges, zero legislative agenda, a natgas pipeline in limbo...
Yeah I do.. I am not so wrapped up in hate for her that I can not see anything else. Though I admit if this were obama I would not take anything he said at face value. So I see why you can not, but for me.. yeah I do.
I also do not think its about playing with the grown ups. Grown ups dont make jokes that your husband is doing your kids because they hate you or any of the other freaky stuff the left did to her. But at least we can agree we both hope she does not get into poltics again.
Her influence is that some of us respect her, like her and trust her.. if she has researched a candidate and stumps for them some of us who might not have given that person a second glance might now because she is advocating for them. It means nothing to lefties but she would not be stumping for lefties anyway so what does it matter what they think.
I find it mildly amusing that you think she should be advocating for disabled kids, when before she had one of her own, she showed very little interest in the issue, much less ensuring the necessary funding and support is in place. She gave all those opportunities up when she quit.
Also, as I have said before, if she wants her family left out of the debate, she really ought to not make them apart of her public persona. She used Trig as a tool to make some absurdly off base comments.
Who ever does sho interest in things till its effected them in some way. I never cared about prison or prison reform till I met someone who had been in the system, now I am very interested in it. I was not interested in the topic of abortion till I had a personal and very emotional issue with it. Now its my number one topic. I had no interest or thought about adoption or foster parenting till I found myself in a situation that I would become a foster parent and adoptive parent. Now that topic matters a great deal to me. Its perfectly normal not to show interest in a topic til it hits you in a personal way. No matter what she says or does you are going to hate her for it, its very much like how I feel about obama. He is in a lose lose situation with me, I come into the topic hating his freaking guts. So I do understand where you are coming from I just disagree with you about Sarah Palin as you do with me about obama.
Well it is two edged, she(or any AK Gov) is allowed to use personal email for some state business, but she is not allowed to delete those that contain state business. That is the next question. But look for the Legs to close this off ASAP.

She is not a candidate for any office local or national, she is not even a Govenor but all she has to do is write a paragraph on her face book account and every news channel covers it and bloggers make threads about it. She has more power in her little finger than every leftie on this forum has in all their bodies put together... Its kind of cute really! She can and will influence a sect of the republican party and that will kill the rinos and mods, she will also have some influence on some Indies who are sick of the attacks made to her... the more you guys attack the more power you give her, and you guys cant even see it.
