I wanted to begin to post news articles and information about this topic. Next month after the election, regardless how it goes I think there will be some interesting comments here.

Pro-Life Woman Complains Obama Pro-Abortion, Gets Secret Service Visit

Lufkin, TX (LifeNews.com) – A pro-life woman who received an unsolicited phone call from the Barack Obama campaign complained about his pro-abortion position. The call earned her a visit from the Secret Service, who were apparently given erroneous information from the campaign volunteer that she made a death threat.

Jessica Hughes of Texas says she received a phone call last Wednesday from a woman with the Obama Volunteers of Texarkana.

She told the Lufkin Daily News: "She asked if I was an Obama supporter, to which I replied, ‘No, I don’t support him. Your guy is a socialist who voted four times in the state Senate to let little babies die in hospital closets; I think you should find something better to do with your time.’ (And then) I hung up."

Her comment about abortion was apparently changed by the Obama volunteer and reported to the Secret Service, who are protecting both presidential candidates.

Two federal agents showed up at Hughes’ home on Thursday and asked her if she has said, "I will never support Obama and he will wind up dead on a hospital floor."

This dilemma occurred during the Civil War with many “citizen soldiers” choosing to serve their states instead of the Federal Government.

If you want to see how America is becoming a police state for real, consider some of the laws that really have been passed: Asset forfeiture, in which the cops can take your property with no due process at all, the Patriot Act, that lets the government eavesdrop on you without a warrant, and then there is the government's ability to decide you're a terrorist or sympathizer and throw you in jail without a trial. Those are the dangerous precedents.

I simply posted it to start the thread. But, as "absurd" as it may seem at the moment, one thing is for sure .... this election is historical and just how historical is anyones guess, considering anything could happen.

It was Obama who signed to extend the Patriot Act and expand it ............

I do not remember all the atrocities of the TSA you see today under Bush!

How many examples can we post of an out of control TSA under Obama or just out of control government in general under Obama?

TSA should not be unionized. They should be run by the military like Israel does it. Cause any soldier does anything unappropreate would face court martial.

Not just anything.

Sure, the outcome of next month's election is a tossup. We might wind up with a president Romney, or a president Obama once again. What isn't going to happen is any monumental sudden changes regardless of who wins. If you listen to what they say, watch what they do, then you see that their politics aren't that different.

I agree their politics on the surface may not seem that different. But, their agenda for this Country is completely different and the wild card here is at what lengths will Obama go to achieve his agenda.

Hopefully, there will be a peaceful transfer, one way or the other.
