NO President could have kept their approval polls as high as Obama's are today with the combination of 2 wars, very bad economic, high unemployment, AND the campaign of hate pursued by the Right. In fact, it is amazing that his numbers are still this high. . .not much lower than Clinton or REAGAN in the Fall of their 3 year!

Go back to my previous post. It very clearly explains why I am not concerned about Obama loosing a few percentage points of support right now. That, in fact, I am amazed he is doing so well (almost the same as Reagan and Clinton at the same stage, in spite of being in a MUCH tougher situation, including two wars, the deepest recession since the 30ths, the vitriolic attacks of politicians who have made it their priority to assure that he would be a one term president. . .and started their hate campaign even BEFORE Obama took office, so it couldn't be because of his decisions!).

In fact, as of today, he is still several percentage points ahead of Perry, and about even (with a minor advantage) with Romney.

Now, I do not know, and I do not pretend that I know if Obama will be reelect. But neither do you, or anyone else.

So, if you thick that because I HOPE Obama will be relected, I am full of illusions, it is clear that you have the same hope for SOMEONE from the GOP to defeat Obama, you have as many illusions as I have. . . Just on the opposite side of the aisle.

Lets face reality here,,Supposed Jackie Robinson failed in Baseball? The Negro leagues would still excist today. I think it's pretty safe to say he has failed at just about everything he has got his hands on. making the right call that ollowed the seal troop to take out Osama and taking out the teenage pirates were the exception not the rule. Strange that the only two things I can think of that he got right both were in giving the order to kill some one. But at least he has gotten something right

I would add extending the Bush tax cuts was another thing he got right.

I am certain he got a few other things right just because of the law of averages....thousands of things he has done since reaching the WH, some had to be right.

Sadly, on all the big issues particularly the economy, he has been a miserable failure. But, I knew he would fail before he took office. Socialism never works.

I wonder if I could have placed a bet in Vegas on whether BO would succeed or not. If so, I could be a millionaire today and subject to the class warfare and hatred of the left...even more than I am now.
