You’ve heard about the Death of the West.
But the Muslim world is on the brink of an even greater collapse.

WILL WE GO DOWN IN THE IMPLOSION?

Thanks to collapsing birthrates, much of Europe is on a path of willed self-extinction. The untold story is that birthrates in Muslim nations are declining faster than anywhere else—at a rate never before documented. Europe, even in its decline, may have the resources to support an aging population, if at a terrible economic and cultural cost. But in the impoverished Islamic world, an aging population means a civilization on the brink of total collapse— something Islamic terrorists know and fear.

Muslim decline poses new threats to America, challenges we cannot even understand, much less face effectively, without a wholly new kind of political analysis that explains how desperate peoples and nations behave.

In How Civilizations Die, David P. Goldman—author of the celebrated “Spengler” column read by intelligence organizations worldwide—reveals how, almost unnoticed, massive shifts in global power are remaking our future.

Goldman reveals:

How extinctions of peoples, cultures, and civilizations are not unthinkable—but certain
How for the first time in world history, the birthrate in the West has fallen below replacement level
Why birthrates in the Muslim world are falling even faster
Why the “Arab Spring” is the precursor of much more violent change in the Islamic world
Why looming demographic collapse may encourage Islamic terrorists to “go for broke”
How the United States can survive the coming world turmoil

I did not know birthrates were also declining rapidly in the Muslim world.

This looks like a very interesting book written by the columnist known as Spengler.

I wonder if those who think world population is exploding, will take note.

Declining birth rates is a good thing globally.

Europe' population is basically maintaining, not really shrinking, although many of the new births come from immigration populations, rather than native. the Eason it doesn't shrink even further is because of the child friendly/family friendly programs (such as child benefits allocated for every child born and lasting through their 25th birthday IF they are still in school.

It is one thing to give lip service about "saving the unborn". It is an entirely different thing to actually support families in ways that will assure that every child born is truly wnted and truly taken care of!

Why are declining birth rates a good thing?

Again you prove that your opinion is not based in reality. It is well known and a FACT that Europe is dying. Nearly all Euro nations do not have replacement rates. And, Spengler confirms this in his book and columns as have numerous others. Read the OP.

I'm not sure where the idea of declining birth rates in Muslim countries came from.

According to this, it's a mixed bag. Iran is near the bottom, while other Muslim nations are near the top.

and the average for the world of 2.55 would seem to be enough to keep the human race alive for a while yet, assuming, of course, that we don't blow ourselves off of the face of the planet we depend on.

Even if some unimaginable disaster were to wipe out 99.9% of humanity, there would still be 7 million of us left, hardly the population of an endangered species.

You don't know where the idea that Muslims birth rates are falling came from????

You might read the OP...THEN.

Spengler (David P. Goldman) has it very well documented. If you knew anything about him, you would know he is well schooled on the Muslim world.

And those silly points you make are absolutely MEANINGLESS. Who said anything about humans being endangered? I guess you concluded from my post that I think our species are going extinct. Amazing how your mind "works."

50 years ago, my home country, Belgium, had a population of 9 millions (highest density of population after China). Today, Belgium has 10 millions inhabitants. . .a slow, but reasonable rate of growth.

The world is over populated. Why would we want to increase the population rate even further?

Especially since, you believe that a new generation paying into a fund to support the older generation (Social Security) is an "illegal Ponzi scheme!"

Do you need more unwanted kids? Uneducated people to turn into ever increasingly poor class? What is the advantage of continuing to increase the world population?

By the way, you may want to tell the Europeans that they are "dying!" They sure have a good time doing it. .:)

Not from actual stats. Did you follow my link?

Spengler (David P. Goldman) has it very well documented. If you knew anything about him, you would know he is well schooled on the Muslim world.

whoop te do for him. The birth rates of Muslim countries range from among the lowest to among the highest.

And those silly points you make are absolutely MEANINGLESS. Who said anything about humans being endangered? I guess you concluded from my post that I think our species are going extinct. Amazing how your mind "works."

Your comment:

Perhaps you meant to say the world Muslim population, but you didn't.
