Attorney General Eric Holder is leaving open the possibility of trying professed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed before a military commission instead of the civilian trial originally planned for New York City.

"At the end of the day, wherever this case is tried, in whatever forum, what we have to ensure is that it's done as transparently as possible and with adherence to all the rules," Holder told The Washington Post in an interview published in Friday's editions. "If we do that, I'm not sure the location or even the forum is as important as what the world sees in that proceeding."

That is so sad little Gipper that you've totally ignored the trials that we have had right here on American soil that have brought the others to justice {you know those other heinous members of the terrorist teams that we caught and tried and brought to full adjudication for their crimes} and shock of all shock...there have been a couple that were 'red blooded American certified citizens' of this great country! Seems that the voices of the dead and the family members that lived in NEW YORK CITY would have enjoyed having a first hand view of the judicial system play out for those trials...but the worry warts/namby-pambies of our country just couldn't seem to get over that "we can't possibly hold those hearing HERE" mentality!
