I have never seen any evidence that the democrats announced prior to Jan 6 that the Capitol would be closed to visitors on that day.

Neither has anyone else. That's because it wasn't. You're not thinking real straight.

The fact that democrats knew there would be a Trump rally that day but made no effort to warn Americans that if they visited the Capitol that day the democrats intended to jail them on seditious terror charges.

They also didn't know they would smash windows and shit in the corridors and want to hang people.
What good would warning Americans do?
They had no intentions of jailing them for protesting. It was the fact they broke in is what brought on the charges. You remember when they smashed windows and one got shot? Peaceful protest I heard.
