Several people were shot in Kansas City, Missouri, after a rally Wednesday celebrating the Chiefs Super Bowl victory, authorities said.

Two people were detained after the shooting near a garage west of Union Station, the Kansas City Police Department said in a statement.

The department did not identify suspects. The condition of the victims remained unclear.

The statement asked for people to quickly leave the area in an effort to provide the victims with medical aid.

Thousands of people had gathered in downtown Kansas City for a celebratory parade and rally at Union Station after the Chiefs Super Bowl win on Sunday.

Now people aren't free to even join in with a Super Bowl celebration.

Removing gun safety laws, allowing just about anyone to own a gun, allowing semi automatic weapons to be bought and owned by just about anyone, has taken our freedom from us.

Does anyone understand this? Guns haven't given us freedom. They've take freedom from us. No place is safe. No one is safe.

Today is the 6th anniversary of the mass shooting at Parkland High School in Florida.

Today is also Valentine's Day. You know, the day of LOVE not violence.

There is only one solution which is, ban stupid bowl parades

If you want to do that then we need to ban schools, malls, movie theaters, churches, synagogues, country music concerts, grocery stores, parking lots, and just about every place people go.

Or we could ban the semi automatic weapons and bring back the gun safety laws we had before conservatives repealed them.

Or we can do what conservatives want to do, make the carnage worse.

Truth be known I actually prefer to tear people in half, but that makes a real mess.

Sure. If you actually did that you would be in prison right now for murder.

Give it a rest. If you were actually faced with a crazy person with a semi automatic you would probably first wet your pants the run like hell.

First we have no idea what kind of guns they use secondly where the gun stolen or did they buy them were they gang members Kansas City's got a lot of gang.
Byb the way unless you're a criminal or mentally ill or a non-citizen you can buy a gun what's wrong with that person that causes the problem not the gun

Tearing assholes in half is fun as hell, but as you might imagine a bit on the smelly side

My guess is that poor bigoted Garland is going to find yet again that the shooter was not one of the right-wing Christian terrorists he imagines are the greatest threat to democracy he has ever seen.
