She is not "talking out of both sides of her mouth", that is silly. It is not in the interests of the United States that the Israelis destroy Palestine. It is also not in the interest of the US that Hamas destroy Israel.

The best hope is for a permanent cease fire and a functioning self government in Gaza by the people of Gaza, and an eventual two state solution.

She has picked a side. She’s going to continue to fund and arm Israel like Biden has. She made that clear in her speech last night while providing empty words of support for Palestinians. Hamas is not the majority of the population in Gaza. And their hate is reactionary to the shit Israel has put them through for decades. Israel started all of this and doesn’t ever want them to know peace. If you had members of your family killed and tortured by Israeli settlers and soldiers all your life and treated as subhuman by most world governments don’t tell me you wouldn’t be out for blood or revenge too.
