Michael Vick(notes) has been getting support from all sides during his road to redemption. He's now getting it from the leader of the free world.

NBC's Peter King reports that Barack Obama called Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie earlier this week to congratulate him for giving Vick a second chance after his release from prison. According to King, the president said that released prisoners rarely receive a level playing field and that Vick's story could begin to change that.

Rush was right! Race and Liberalism played a role in this. Just like what Rush said about Donovan McNabb on ESPN

Now what wasnt the Media on about Pete Rose? Now Pete Rose broke the Law and banned from Baseball and Pete Rose is white. And Antonio Margarito was Banned From Boxing and reinstated how come the Media didnt talk about that one and guess what? Hes white. And pitcher Steve Howe was banned from Baseball 7 times in his career and the Media didnt gripe about this one and hes white too. So when it comes to Black Players in pro sports the liberal Media worships them.

McNabb was rather overrated but to be fair, he wound up with the Redskins who are classic underachievers. they need to trade the owner.

well lets see...Pete rose bet on baseball..while manager...so his infraction was in the sport itself, and directly leads the credibility of the game itself...

Vick committed a crime outside the sport...and did 2 years in jail....to rose's zero.

so yea, Rose being not in the hall of fame is the harsh punishment and 2 years jail is the easy?

I am not sure what those others did..but there is a big difference between committing a crime outside your job and getting a chance to work there again...and committing one at your job and getting a change to work there again.

all that said, I hate Vick

and McNab was not overrated because he was black...he was rated well because he did well. There are alot of very good qb's who have not taken as team as far as he has....and this year...its freaking Washington, no one could win there...and taking one year is like saying well Brett favre was overrated and sucked becuse of this year...its one year.

This is what you call the Black Free Pass through life. Obozo, himself got it - propelled through life by "affirmative action", never worked a day in his life at a real job, and now he's president. :D
