I trust Mccain; I just don't know if he will tell the whole truth, because of administration pressure, and flawed war strategy.

I’ve suggested things that should be mandatory:

More honest communication in regards to foreign and domestic policy.

Simplifying law, as society improves.

Equalizing the pay wage.

Depending upon the severity of global warming, driving significantly less, in addition to other helpful changes.

A plan for the present and the future in which society is informed more effectively.

There are other things, all of which are common sense, to which government and majority, to some extent, neglects or procrastinates on.

But actions like this require money, so we also need to reconsider our policy, for much money is wasted on security and military endeavors that do nothing to cease the dissention. Basically, our first priority is to seek out a peace-maker. This peace-maker must not stand soley for America, for then he will be caught up in America's war's, obligated to fight America's enemies. Instead, he must stand for the world, dedicated to ammending the tarnished relationships of the world, by reconstructing a system that can equalize the world, for death, poverty, and pestilence in the Middle East is damage to the Unite States, when looking at the big picture. We all must stand together. Nationalistic beliefs are divisive.

If they raise the min wage to 10 dollars an hour, you will be worse off after your first "new" pay check than you were before the raise. If company’s have to pay 10 dollars an hour for someone to take out their trash, do their dishes exc. they will have to raise their prices dramatically. Every one will. Then your ten dollars an hour will only buy you the same stuff that it ever bought you in the first place, except now you have hurt a whole lot of people. Then the People who were already making 10 an hour or maybe 15 an hour, their income wouldn’t increase but the cost of everything would. So they would be a ton worse off than you were before the increase.

But the sad thing is I bet this will end up happening. And when everything falls apart NO ONE will take the blame.
 
What is your solution. Think of the extra money that a more peaceful world will provide. That is why I say peaceful endeavors must precede domestic progression. The whole world needs to be changed. You don't have to raise prices, just those higher up get paid less, that's all. Please explain to me more in depth. I know the current situation is mastifestly inequitable to the common man, so I need to figure out how to resolve this unjustice.

What you are wanting seems to be socialism. If you want that sort of life style then ok but please please please don’t wish that nightmare on rest of us.

If lets say the government did a radical shake up. They took away all of the money from anyone with over lets say a million dollars and distributed it to you and me and we all had the same amount of money. Within 5 years we would be right were we are at again (for the most part) unless we had a Castro type leader who kept everyone in check. But if that happened we would be like the Cubans who are literally DYING to try and escape.

Most people would get their money and spend it on stupid things and squander it, others (a very small few) would find ways to make their money make more money. There will always be stupid people who pay money to see movie stars exc. making them all rich again, there will always be people who are willing to work 2 or 3 jobs to make more money and there will always be people who want to buy toys and go on vacations gamble and drink their money away. .

Money is not going to make you happy it just seems that way. I am assuming you live in the USA. You are in the one place it is possible to go from nothing to everything but YOU have to be the one willing to make the sacrifices to do it.
 
America is a completely different country than Cuban. If we have a God inspired, virtuous leader who promotes and implements gradual socialistic change to merge dichotomies it will bring people together. We can't live under the dollar, and many people are repressed, sick, poverty stricken, and dieing because of the fact that America allows money to reign over compassion. 10$ per hour minimum wage is respectable and should not put all out of work. And unemployed should get a certain wage as well, or a temporary subsititute for money so that they can survive until they get jobs. Homeless shelters, especially in the city, should be drastically improved, and rehab should be provided for those with mental illness or drug addiction. Insurance should be affordable for he who gets paid minimum wage, considering all other expenses. We must take the worst case scenario, and change our domestic policy until these people are accounted for, for this is what equity demands.

Our country must lead by example, and thus far we have failed to do so, for the system has become a barrier to justice, equality and liberty, all of which can not be enforced.

Well in a sense, they are a simultaneous effort. History is not going to reveal all the answers, but usually domestic progression coicides with appropriate leadership. When we get out of a economically damaging war, it is only common sense that our domestic status will improve.

This is so true Bunz.

Obama has spent a good portion of his life helping people that were down and out or had lost their jobs do to plant closings in Chicago. He was a Harvard Law grad for gosh sakes. He could have easily took the big money and ran. He could be making right now much more than the 400K a year being President will get him.

The... is he a Christian thing always cracks me up. Not like he and his Christian church hasn't gotten any air time you know. :eek: You can't swing a cat and not hit some story about Obama and his Christian church... Christian Preacher... yada yada.

John McCain on the other hand plays his cards like George Bush's "compassed conservative" but without the false pretense of the compassionate part. If he were honest he would just come out with a campaign commercial that said...

I'm John McCain and I approved this ad... My friends I'm sorry to tell ya there's gonna be other wars and back here at home families & children need to learn to fend for themselves best they can. I'm really not interested in helping anyone that's not already made it big.
