Barbara Bush tells Palin to stay home in Alaska instead of running for president

Yeah just as I thought... Anyone who give John McCain a higher rating for fiscal conservatism than Ron Paul is smoking something they probably shouldnt be.

Ron Paul does not get the credit for Social issues, thats why he is lower I am sure.

ps I hate this laptop keyboard, when typing, it randomly jumps back 3 sentences and has you typing into the middle that you already typed, grrrr

Also keep in mind, the guy your talking to, thinks Reagan was a conservitive god, even though run up a huge debt, spending more and more, and cutting income more and more...so clearly a Republican God maybe :)

The point is, which you obviously misrepresented, you claimed there are few fiscal conservatives in Congress. This is lib BS. There are many fiscal conservatives and even more now with the new arrivals. Can you admit you were wrong?

Which is the lesser of the two evils? Commies or Progressives?

No the point is that site is a joke It gave probably the only fiscal conservative in congress a lower score than a man known to be a neocon.

The two evils the GOP and the Democats Ill let you pick which is which. Hell even your man Glenn Beck agrees with this.

Of course she did - her husband was King o' the RINOs, and the Bushes want their RINO friends to stay in power. The purpose of RINOs is to slightly slow the leftwing destruction of america, while serving their corporate interests.

Aint gonna happen.

As if leftwingers were supporters of freedom of religion.

WHOPPER O' THE YEAR AWARD, nailed down. :D

In my experiences those who consider themselves leftwinger are way more open to religious freedom while those on the right tend to want to legislate their morals on others who have just no interest.

Those who are arrogant enough to start giving themselves awards imagined or otherwise should stop to think why they are the only ones giving themselves rewards.

She won't have the votes of a lot of conservatives, which is why the conservative movement would be better off if Palin does stay in Alaska.

There is no reason why Palin should inspire fear in Democrats. She should inspire fear in Republicans.

Leftwing anti-religious bigotry starts and ends with the christian religion.

- Leftwingers sue to get manger scenes out of the town square.
- Leftwingers stop prayers in public schools.
- Leftwingers sued to get a cross that was a memorial to WWI vets removed from desert land in california.
- Leftwingers waged a successful campaign to get the word "Christmas" removed from public utterance.
- Leftwingers got their fav lap kitties, the corporations, to remove any sign of religion from their premises.
- Leftwingers got the city of los angeles to remove a tiny cross on it's emblem, a symbol of the early history of california.
- Leftwingers got "under god" removed from the pledge of allegiance, which they don't like in any case.
- Leftwing Hollyweird and other lib media has ENDLESSLY ridiculed the christian religion.

GET A clue.

I think most people here know that I am pretty conservative... saying that, if Sarah Palin runs for President, she will not have my vote.

Agreed. Palin is not likely to get mine either unless our choice is between her and the Skinny Socialist. Then it is a no brainer. Right?

But, you miss the point. Mrs. Bush dissed a popular R with her idiotic comment. She of all people should know better being the spouse of a fool and spawned another. Both of whom were viciously and unjustly criticized by the lib media.

Her comments exemplify the elitist thinking of many in the R party. This is also the progressive side, which needs to be roundly condemned.

I hope some Rs speak out against her comments. Conservative talkers, writers, and bloggers better do it too.

GET A clue.

1) I dont have a problem with that and most "leftwingers" do not care.

2) Kids are free to pray in public schools if they choose but it would be absurd to force other student to pray to a false god. The freedom of religion also applies to the lack thereof

3) Most left winger could care less I can name crazy **** the fringe right does but it I do not hold the average GOPer accountable for it.

4) I still say merry ****ing christmas I guess it wasnt all that successful.

5) Examples?

6) A city changing its emblem doesnt seem like your business.

7) No its still there and kids no matter their religion are forced to pledge allegiance to a government arrogant enough to believe god himself ordained this nation. The freedom of religion applies to everyone not just christian. What about a little muslim boy being forced to pledge to a god he blieves to be false. Get your facts straight.

8) So? Do they not have the right to ridicule? No one says you cant believe in your fairy tale.

I do just want to point out to you Rick that Sarah Palin openly states there is an "inherent right to privacy within the US Constitution." That is a statement you disagree with.

Well no, I would not vote for Obama in 2012.

But, you miss the point. Mrs. Bush dissed a popular R with her idiotic comment. She of all people should know better being the spouse of a fool and spawned another. Both of whom were viciously and unjustly criticized by the lib media.

Mrs. Bush is entitled to her opinions, same as anyone else. Perhaps it was not smart to give her opinion publicly, however from the viewpoint of pushing a Republican agenda, it can be argued Palin dropping off the national stage would be a good thing.

Her comments exemplify the elitist thinking of many in the R party. This is also the progressive side, which needs to be roundly condemned.

I hope some Rs speak out against her comments. Conservative talkers, writers, and bloggers better do it too.

They might, they might not, either way I doubt it matters. Ultimately the issue is this: Is it better for the Republican agenda to have Palin out of the picture or is it not? Mrs. Bush seems to think it would be.. no doubt many out there disagree, but hey, opinions are opinions.

She is incorrect about that, but there's no reason to expect any two people to agree on everything. I am all for a very carefully-worded right to privacy to be added to the constitution. Very carefully-worded, because look what leftwing judges did with "it" when it wasn't even there - inferred a "right" to ABORTION from a purported right to PRIVACY!!

"Perhaps" it was not smart! Not perhaps...it was not SMARTt!!!

She did this purposely to hurt Palin. She knows full well what the left wing media would do with her comment. Hell, last night ABC Sunday Night News ran it and the anchor chuckled.

And regarding Palin disappearing would somehow be good for the R party, is garbage and left wing BS. Why do conservatives fall for this crap?

The R party is leaderless. Palin is filling the vacuum. She is without doubt a conservative, constitutionalist, and for limited government. All good things. Mrs. Bush is an elitist big government type.

Funny how both Progressive Bush Presidents do not attack Obama, but Mrs. Bush attacks Palin. Wake up!

Ronald Reagan’s 11th commandment…”Thou shalt not speak ill of any other republican.” Off to the woodshed Mrs. Bush where you belong...
