Disgusting accumulation of evidence of FBI corruption

The approach of Shokin’s office to the Burisma investigations fell into a well-practiced pattern of corruption, the anonymous prosecutor says. By the time of Biden’s intervention, there were no active investigations to speak of.

“If the idea was to get a result on the Burisma case, Shokin would have put his top people on it,” he says. “That didn’t happen. The aims were different.”

“Neither Shokin nor Poroshenko wanted to investigate [Burisma owner Mykola] Zlochevsky,” says Sakvarelidze. “They simply began a criminal case, arrested a few assets, and began negotiating with the corruptioneer for a bribe.”

yep, shokin was corrupt.
At least the writer admits Shokin made arrests and was getting things done to bring Zlochevsky to justice which is more than any other prosecutor before or after him managed to get done.

By the time Joe Biden arrived in Kiev in December 2015 to issue his infamous ultimatum, Shokin had lost the support of all but 3.5 per cent of Ukrainians.
Joe Biden and the corrupt officials seeking to undermine Shokin's investigation were somewhat successful in turning public opinion against the good prosecutor with their heinous lies.

Daria Kaleniuk, executive director of the Kyiv-based Anti-Corruption Action Center (AntAC), told RFE/RL that Shokin "dumped important criminal investigations on corruption associated with [former President Viktor] Yanukovych, including the Burisma case."

another hunter fan? hahahahahhahahahahahhaha
Was Daria Kaleniuk also getting fat bribes from Zlochevsky? How much of the billion dollars in US aid personally benefitted this crook who was bribing people everywhere in several nations to protect his ongoing enterprise?

Solomon: These once-secret memos cast doubt on Joe Biden’s Ukraine story

BY JOHN SOLOMON, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR - 09/26/19 6:00 PM ET

Blue Star, using the Ukrainian embassy worker it had hired, eventually scored a meeting with Sevruk on April 6, 2016, a week after Shokin’s firing. Buretta, Tramontano and Painter attended that meeting in Kiev, according to Blue Star’s memos.

Sevruk memorialized the meeting in a government memo that the general prosecutor’s office provided to me, stating that the three Americans offered an apology for the “false” narrative that had been provided by U.S. officials about Shokin being corrupt and inept.

“They realized that the information disseminated in the U.S. was incorrect and that they would facilitate my visit to the U.S. for the purpose of delivering the true information to the State Department management,” the memo stated.

The memo also quoted the Americans as saying they knew Shokin pursued an aggressive corruption investigation against Burisma’s owner, only to be thwarted by British allies: “These individuals noted that they had been aware that the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine had implemented all required steps for prosecution … and that he was released by the British court due to the underperformance of the British law enforcement agencies.”

The memo provides a vastly different portrayal of Shokin than Biden’s. And its contents are partially backed by subsequent emails from Blue Star and Buretta that confirm the offer to bring Ukrainian authorities to meet the Obama administration in Washington.

Lev Parnas, recently indicted for foreign influence in U.S. elections, collaborated closely with The Hill’s John Solomon to fuel spurious allegations involving the Bidens and Ukraine.

everywhere you look you see republican criminals. lol. they are the party of hate and crime!

how much was? if you'd like to prove something, go for it *****. lol

Joe Biden and the corrupt officials seeking to undermine Shokin's investigation were somewhat successful in turning public opinion against the good prosecutor with their heinous lies.

you still haven't explained why if shokin was such a good prosecutor everyone wanted him fired. lol.

are you suggesting the IMF, EU, and ukrainian anti-corruption groups were all "fooled"? hahahahahhahahahahah

you're so stupid

Activists say the case had been sabotaged by Shokin himself. As an example, they say two months before Hunter Biden joined Burisma's board, British authorities had requested information from Shokin's office as part of an investigation into alleged money laundering by Zlochevskiy. Shokin ignored them.

Kaleniuk and AntAC published a detailed timeline of events surrounding the Burisma case, an outline of evidence suggesting that three consecutive chief prosecutors of Ukraine -- first Shokin’s predecessor, then Shokin, and then his successor -- worked to bury it.

"Ironically, Joe Biden asked Shokin to leave because the prosecutor failed [to pursue] the Burisma investigation, not because Shokin was tough and active with this case," Kaleniuk said.
Shokin had not slacked up on his pursuit of Zlochevsky as liars claim. Kaleniuk proves himself a liar by claiming Biden had Shokin fired for not doing enough to investigate Zlochevsky and his American officials when in fact Joe Biden had the entire investigation shut down without a peep from Kaleniuk and his crooked cronies.

you are "proving" he is a liar by "ASSuming" what biden did? lol.

hey *****, you can't prove something with ASSumptions. duh.

god you're stupid. lol

But there is a long list of Western organizations, governments, and diplomats, as well as Ukrainian anti-corruption groups, that wanted to see Shokin fired.

They include the International Monetary Fund, the European Union, the U.S. government, foreign investors, and Ukrainian advocates of reform.

In a column published days after Shokin was fired in March 2016, Anders Aslund, a senior fellow at the Atlantic Council think tank in Washington, wrote that his dismissal came as no surprise.

"The amazing thing is not that he was sacked but that it has taken so long," Aslund said. "Petro Poroshenko appointed Shokin to the role in February 2015. From the outset, he stood out by causing great damage even to Ukraine's substandard legal system."

yep, he was corrupt. lol

Compromised parrots of the lying Biden narratives claim but do not prove that Joe Biden had Shokin fired in order to expedite the prosecution of Zlochevsky and Burisma. However, the facts clearly demonstrate that is not what happened. Biden did not expedite the prosecution of Burisma and its officers, including his son, but had the investigation shuttered. That is what the facts show.

biden's goal wasn't specifically to expedite any specific prosecutions, *****. why would a VP get that deeply involved, *****.
it was to get rid of a corrupt prosecutor so prosecutions in general would proceed.

you're a *****. lol

Here are more facts that support the entire record of what really happened in Ukraine with regards to Zlochevsky and his payments to Hunter Biden and others:

State Dept. email showing $7 million bribe withheld from Trump's defense (lawenforcementtoday.com)

The investigation opened in April 2014, when the Prosecutor General’s office began investigating Burisma after British authorities had frozen $23.5 million in assets belonging to Zlochevsky as part of an investigation into money laundering. This is when Archer and Hunter Biden suddenly found themselves appointed to Burisma’s board. Irony? Or merely “impeccable timing?”

Kent’s email noted that after the $7 million bribe was paid, Ukraine’s chief prosecutor, Vitaly Yarema issued a letter to the London court in December 2014 which stated that “there was no active case open on Zlochevsky.” The frozen assets were then released to him.

Yarema resigned on Feb 9, 2015, after pressure came to bear over his failure to prosecute any officials in the former Yanukovych administration.

The new prosecutor named was Viktor Shokin, who was brought out of retirement by Poroshenko. A former prosecutor, he was appointed the day after Yarema’s resignation, which met at least initially with approval by American officials.

In June 2015, Nuland wrote Shokin telling him that “[w]e have been impressed with the ambitious reform and anti-corruption agenda of your government.” That letter was delivered by Pyatt to Shokin on orders from Nuland.

Nuland further praised Shokin, noting that his ongoing reforms showed his ability to “investigate and prosecute corruption and other crimes in an effective, fair and transparent manner.”

Pyatt continued the Shokin praise-fest, saying in a September 2015 speech that “[w]e want to work with Prosecutor General Shokin” because he was “leading the fight against corruption” in Ukraine.

He also gushed that the $23 million in frozen Burisma assets, returned to the company’s owner Zlochevsky through the actions of Shokin’s predecessor were “illicit” and “belonged to the Ukrainian people.”

The love-fest with Shokin continued through October 2015, when Pyatt tweeted about overcoming corruption in Ukraine in collaboration with Shokin.

The honeymoon started to come crashing down not long after Hunter Biden received an email from the head of Burisma’s board, Vadym Pozharskyi on Nov. 2, 2015. In that email, Pozharskyi demanded Hunter Biden produce what he called “deliverables,” stating that the “ultimate purpose” was to “close down any cases or pursuits” against Burisma’s owner in Ukraine.

Quite “ironically,” Pozharskyi had visited with Joe Biden in Washington, DC earlier that year.

The object of Pozharskyi’s wrath appeared to be Shokin, who reopened the investigation into Zlochevsky, which had been sidelined by Yarema. In addition, Shokin attempted (albeit unsuccessfully) to obtain a court order from Ukrainian courts to seize Zlochevsky’s assets, which were eventually seized on Feb. 2, 2016.

The Epoch Times further noted that on the same day Hunter Biden received Pozharskyi’s email, Hunter contacted Amos Hochstein, Obama’s special envoy and coordinator of international energy affairs.

Four days later, on Nov. 6, Hunter met with Hochstein, which occurred within mere hours of receiving Pozharskyi’s dictates, which is striking. Congressional investigators later learned from Hochstein that Hunter “wanted to know my views on Burisma and Zlochevsky.”

All of this occurred right around the time that Joe Biden was going to be making a trip to Ukraine. Nuland told congressional investigators that Hochstein had expressed anxiety over Hunter Biden’s ties to Burisma specifically to Joe Biden during the flight to Ukraine on Dec. 7, 2015.

ON Nov. 22, 2015, Joe Biden demanded the removal of Shokin as prosecutor investigating Burisma. This occurred only two weeks before his trip to Ukraine, and just three weeks after Hunter was given his instructions that the cases against Zlochevsky needed to basically go away.

Despite Biden’s demands that Shokin be fired, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko initially pushed back against the directive, and the prosecutor was not fired during Biden’s December 2015 visit.

you'll have to actually point out and prove anything there that hunter did wrong, let alone joe biden, *****. lol.

Republicans are clearly trying to connect some dots to give an impression of malfeasance by Biden. But they are looking at the wrong dots. Nothing significant appears to have happened in February 2016 except primarily the reinstatement of a previous court order. Instead, Zlochevsky’s assets had been seized a year earlier and were only briefly not under a court order because of a prosecutorial error.
In other words, there would have been no reason for Biden to raise the supposed raid of Zlochevsky’s home in his phone calls. Moreover, as we’ve shown, Biden’s aides at the time say that neither Burisma nor Zlochevsky was raised in the calls.
Graham and Nunes earn Four Pinocchios.

lying by republicans about biden? i can't believe it. /s
Biden did not raise the raid on Zlochevsky's assets, but the fact Shokin's investigation was heating up clearly motivated Joe Biden to have Shokin fired before he could question Hunter Biden about his involvement with the corruption at Burisma.

so a bribe happened that had nothing to do with joe biden? lol. and it didn't involve hunter either. Lots of things happened while hunter was on the board, *****. duh

but it looks like firing shokin scared zhochevsky so he felt the need to try and bribe the authorities, so biden was right to want him gone.

thanks for making my case!
You can believe Burisma bribes had nothing to do with Joe or had nothing to do with Hunter, but you are clearly on shaky ground with that assumption.
