Obama Tops Bush... at avoiding scrutiny!

So far BO has topped Bush in many areas: Playing golf; traveling around the world, and around the country; spending taxpayers dollars; signing EO's; secret meetings; expanding the Executive Branch with unConstitutional Czars; and the list goes on.

Whatta shame neither-of-you is (actually) paying attention....

"States face continued major budget problems, because of the steepest-ever decline in state revenues and the end of most federal Recovery Act assistance halfway through their coming fiscal year. As a result, governors are proposing a new round of deep budget cuts that would increase unemployment and threaten the fragile economic recovery. Without further federal aid, the actions states will have to take to close their budget gaps could cost the economy 900,000 jobs. Congress is considering extending some assistance to states as part of forthcoming jobs legislation.

A recent Goldman Sachs report underlines the importance of state fiscal conditions to the health of the economy. Goldman projects economic growth will slow later this year, in part because “state and local budget cutbacks will almost certainly still be weighing on overall demand.” Similarly, Mark Zandi, Chief Economist of Moody’s Economy.com, recently warned that large state budget cuts next fiscal year “will be a serious drag on the economy at just the wrong time.”

Ah, but we are little grasshopper.

Do you have any idea of why this from your article is happening?

"Without further federal aid, the actions states will have to take to close their budget gaps could cost the economy 900,000 jobs. Congress is considering extending some assistance to states as part of forthcoming jobs legislation."

Setting aside that it is a lie since these same States do not want to do what is necessary, cut spending, just as the fed is not willing to do, one should look at how pension plans for public employees are destroying State economies. Then there are the annual pay raises for public employees, and the rising numbers of people on the public payroll.

Yep, the typical mentally ill left wing response. First you say Bush never met with the Democrats, then when one points out how wrong you are then you say it was just a "photo-op".

Careful now... If you keep owning leftists like that, Obama might try to nationalize you.

If Bush did get lots of scrutiny then what could he have achieved without it??

Maybe he could have auctioned the US off on ebay

Or better, paid his old pal OBL to take it.

Maybe he could have brought back slavery or trial by ordeal.

Witchunts, apartheid, the great depression, prohibition.

He could have attacked Iran and Yemen and anyone else with oil.

The possibilities are endless

Damn that scrutiny

It's your Radical Leftist buddies that demand Subsidies, bailouts and other Taxpayer funded perks for the Mega-Corporations... as "punishment" for bad behavior.

Can you imagine the mess the US woul be in if political giants like Gen had a real say???

The IMF has said today that the only way to recovery is borrowing and investment.

But Gen knows best.

Let the banks collapse and take down every business with them.

Careful of those bodies flying out of the windows Gen.

To be fair I would dearly love to see the bankers get it hard in the ass but unfortunately they constructed the web in a way which means they would take down everyone else.

And the poor will suffer the most.

Hey, maybe that is why Gen wants no intervention.

We all know he hates the poor.

That is just bizarre

I suppose it demonstrates how your wrongly wired brain 'functions'

First you complain about the bailouts and say that anyone who supports them must be brainwashed.... THEN IN THE VERY NEXT POST.... You explain why you SUPPORT the bailouts! :D
