The Meaning of Liberal

The real difference between liberals and conservatives is that liberals are those that are too liberal for their own good; while conservatives are those that are only liberal for their own good. Either way you want to look at it, neither come out looking very good.

Much like a lot of things in life going to far in either direction can create unfairness. It's a shame things have become so polarized.

It seems to me it used to be more that the hardball competition took place mainly during the elections and then afterward people sort of settled down to see what the elected officials could do with at least a little bit of working together.

We'd get a lot more done a lot quicker if that were still the case.

If you look at half of Always Rants...they are not asking about policy or debate, they are in fact just mindless rants...and no amount of facts will do anything to change always's mind so if you have dumb ideas yelled out, and someone who does not listen to facts...leaves you little else...hence why I actually had to pug Always on Iggy, because the mindless posts drove me up the wall, with the lack of facts and even point to half of them. yet I was suppose to just sit and say nothing. Sure I want to debate the facts but if anyone dares to bring up the actual facts they are racist haters, so how can you debate something if you cant even bring it up?


A long time ago when he was first elected and talking about being his brothers keeper and how he was going to fix health care for all and taxes and jobs and all that good stuff. I and others brought up the fact he has a brother living in a fraking hut with no toilet and an aunt living in the slums of Boston, if he isnt helping them why on earth do we think he will help us.

He says we all need skin in the game, we all have to spread the wealth and give up some of our pie, but he himself gave nothing to charity til the year he decided to run for president and that was 20k to his church of hate. Typical Americans gave far more of a percent of their incomes than he did but he wants us to give more of our pie.

And therein is the clue, liberalism has accelerated far past its defensible positions on many issues, and in-fighting is the inevitable result. Late term abortions, Government funded abortions, lack of fiscal restraint, the Afghanistan surge, Gitmo, Iraq, as well as nudity in Ashland, are all pitting moderate liberals against the liberal extremists, and the results will be near-term collapse of the liberal movement as we know it.

Today State Treasurer Dean Martin announced that he is now pursuing those same claims with now Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.

"The cost of illegal immigration has exhausted the Arizona State Treasury. In order to pay for the federal government's responsibility of securing our national borders and incarcerating individuals who enter the United States illegally and commit crimes, the state has incurred hundreds of millions of dollars of debt to pay these bills," said Treasurer Dean Martin.
